Standard Lecithin Concentrate

Cravings Buster Mousse

I find the evenings the worst time for food cravings and so instead of hunting for chocolate I’ll throw together this super healthy and nutritious mousse.

At night I am looking for a slow release of protein, with plenty of fat and groundnuts to make me feel satiated. To aid my digestive health and to help nutritional uptake I also add colostrum to the mix.

I normally make this early in the evening to give it a couple of hours in the fridge to set.

VARIATION

The same recipe can be used as a morning post-workout snack, but for this I add 1 banana, 2 tsp cacao and 1 tsp bee pollen (I avoid the cacao and bee pollen in the evening due to their stimulant effects).

Cravings Buster Mousse

Serves: 1

Time: 5-10 mins

1 medium avocado

2 Tbsp hemp seeds

2 Tbsp LSA mix

2 Tbsp casein protein

½ tsp colostrum

Handful of frozen strawberries

1 cup almond milk (slowly add this to mix)

Optional: honey or maple syrup to taste

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients into a food processor, using just a quarter of the milk (you don’t want to make this a soup!).

Step 2

Blend ingredients for about 1 minute.

Step 3

Check the consistency and add a little more milk if required (a tiny bit at a time to get the right consistency).

Step 4

Blend until you have a smooth and creamy texture, adding milk as required.

Step 5

Transfer dish into a sealed plastic container and put in fridge for a few hours.
